Refund Policy

1. Free Trial & Auto-Billing
New members are eligible for a one-time 7-day free trial on select membership plans. If you cancel your trial before the 7-day period ends, you will not be charged anything. If you do not cancel within the trial period, your saved payment method will be automatically charged the full subscription amount on the 8th day, and your membership will continue on a recurring basis until you cancel. No refund is issued for this or any subsequent charge once the trial period has ended, regardless of usage.
2. Membership & Addon Subscriptions
All recurring subscription payments made on Credo Themes are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase, or by allowing your free trial to convert to a paid subscription, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the product, change of mind, accidental purchase, or partial use of the billing period.
3. One-Time Theme & Service Purchases
Lifetime theme purchases and paid services are digital products delivered instantly as a license key and download access. Because the product is delivered immediately, one-time purchases are non-refundable once the license has been issued or the theme files have been downloaded. If a theme is genuinely defective or does not function as described on its product page, contact support within 7 days of purchase — we will first work with you to fix the issue; a refund is issued only at our discretion if the issue cannot be resolved.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your free trial or an active Credo Themes subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancelling during the trial window stops all future billing before it starts. Cancelling an active paid subscription stops future renewals, but access remains active until the end of your current billing period — we do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining time in that cycle.
5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues can be resolved directly and faster this way. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your license and account access while the dispute is investigated.
6. Card & Payment Data Security
Credo Themes does not store your card details on our own servers. In line with PCI-DSS compliance standards, your payment information is captured and held directly and exclusively by our payment gateway partners — Stripe for international (USD) payments and Razorpay for Indian (INR) payments. We only keep a tokenized reference to your saved payment method, which the gateway uses on our behalf to process trial-end and renewal charges. Keeping card data out of our infrastructure entirely is a deliberate security priority, not an afterthought.
7. Currency & Taxes
Indian customers are billed in INR, inclusive of 18% GST added at checkout. International customers are billed in USD with no additional tax. In the rare case a refund is approved under this policy, it is issued only to the original payment method, in the original currency charged.
